Homowo festival is basically a harvest festival and it is celebrated by the Ga people; it starts with the sowing of millet in May. The most noticeable species of this national park remain Nyala and Smaller Suni which are kinds of smaller antelopes. These rivers are home to Zambezi Shark, Freshwater Goby, Black Bream and the unique Turquoise Killifish.

Eastern Highlands:

These are the cooler and wetter areas of Zimbabwe, popular for hiking, camping and fishing.
